Arrest In Salvation Army Guitar Theft

A Tyler man has been arrested for allegedly stealing that guitar from a Salvation Army Red Kettle worker.

Officials say 63-year old Carl Brooks is now charged with theft of property. Officers found the guitar at Brook's home. The guitar belonged to Troy Axtems, who plays outside a Tyler Wal-mart.

Shortly after we told you about him last week on KLTV 7, East Texans donated at least four guitars to Troy. Those guitars will now go to the Salvation Army's school of music to teach children how to play.
