Counterfiet Operation Busted in Longview

Thousands of fake bills will never get a chance to be used. Longview Police and secret service agents confiscated a trash-bag, suitcase, and cooler full of fake 10's, 20's and 100 dollar bills. The counterfeit money was found at a home on Green Street Tuesday. Two people were taken into custody and charged with felony forgery. Police say the ring was producing the bogus money on computer. The arrests were sparked when one member of the ring allegedly tried to pass a bill at an area night-club.  Employees were quick to get a license plate number, and that led to an arrest.
