Lobos go all in for playoffs

With their State Semifinals game against denton Guyer coming up, the Longview Lobos showed last week they would do whatever it took to keep going in the state playoffs.

The Lobos played to win against Midway. They faked a punt in the first half, and went on to score. Then when the game ended in a tie, they went for two at the end of the first overtime, putting the entire season down to one play.

Longview scored to advance, and they say that's the way they want to play it.

"Its really exciting to know they put that much pressure on us," Lobos defensive tackle Jeremiah Farley said. " they know we'll do the right thing."

"The coaches feel very comfortable in our heart," Lobos safety Alonte Darden said, "and what we'll do to bring a win to this school."

Longview plays Denton Guyer Saturday night at eight at Texas Stadium.
