Daingerfield, Cayuga move on in football playoffs

The Daingerfield Tigers defeated Newton 21-18 today at Carthage's Bulldogs Stadium to win the Class 2A Division II Region III Quarterfinals.

Also, the Cayuga Wildcats beat #1 ranked Maud 27-18 in the Class 1A Division II Region II Quarterfinals.

Tonight, Longview plays Hewitt Midway in Class 5A, and Gilmer plays Carthage in Class 3A.
