It was snowing in East Texas Saturday, well sort of. There was a snow hill in Lindale, part of the Winter Wonderland event that took place. For the first two hours Saturday morning they invited special needs families from all over east texas to participate. Those young and old took part.
"I think its made of shaving cream instead of snow," Drew Childs, age 6 told KLTV.
"Have you ever been in the real snow?" we asked, "Yes, I went there a couple times," said Drew. "Is this kinda like it?," we asked, "Yes it is. It's squishy and sort of cold," replied Drew.
"It is squishy. I got it in my shoes and socks," said Keri Northcutt.
This was the first time for this event, but they plan to do it again next year.
