POLL FINDS THAT MOST AMERICANS PRAY REGULARLY

Less than half of Americans say they regularly attend religious services, but more than 60 percent say they pray once or more a day. That's according to a poll by The Christian Science Monitor.

Less than a third of the more than 900 adults surveyed said the terrorist attacks made them more interested in participating in interfaith services. Since the war on terror began, many clergy have held worship services with other denominations to promote religious tolerance.

But some Christians have resisted, saying interfaith worship suggests that all religions are the same.
