Longview teen kidnapped; two arrested

These two men are behind bars after police say they kidnapped a Longview teen.

Samuel Reyna Morin and Samuel Ivan Morin are both charged with aggravated kidnapping after police say they took a 13 year old girl at gunpoint from a church on Gilmer Road Wednesday night. Police said this stemmed from a fight between the two suspects and the girl's father.

The girl's father told police Samuel Reyna had made several romantic advances toward his daughter.

"Because the victim and the actors knew each other that's not uncommon it's just one of those things that happened at a church locally here locally," said Sergeant David Scott with the Longview Police Department. "I can say that our officers were very persistent and diligent in what was going on at the time and the actors were short apprehended after the initial abduction."

Within 30 minutes, police caught the suspects just 20 minutes later on Eastman Road. The girl was returned to her parents unharmed.
