According to Superintendent Roy Knight, the school found out about it from a parent. Written statements have been collected from the teacher and from students who heard the comment, and Knight says that the investigation is being conducted by the Human Resources Department, campus level administrators, and his office.

The teacher faces disciplinary action pending the outcome of the investigation. We will bring you more details on the remarks and what exactly happened as the school releases more information.
