CrossPointe Community Church breaks ground on new church

An East Texas church will soon see its vision of a brand new home come true.  CrossPointe Community Church held a groundbreaking ceremony Saturday morning on its eight acre lot in South Tyler.  The new church will include a student center, classrooms and of course a kitchen. Currently, the church of about 150 members meet at the Southeast Shopping Mall.  Members say they are thrilled to have a new church to call their own.

"God has given us a great group of people here at CrossPointe, and our vision in Tyler and our vision for this region is to be an asset, to be a contribution, to be something that is going to make a difference to people, and we believe that not only is God helping us do that now, but our future is bright," said CrossPointe Pastor Don Spradling.  The church says its new building should be complete in 10 to 12 months.
