Coats For Kids Drive Delivery

An annual fundraiser took place Saturday 'The Coats For Kids' drive sponsored by PATH.  Gently used winter coats were distributed to children as young as infants and those up to 18-years-old. The kids we spoke to were excited about their new wardrobe and just in time for the cold weather.

"I get a sweater," said Melvin Rameriez, Age 5.

"Getting a coat for being warm," said Savoria Simons.

"I like this coat," said Malik Pierce.  "It's kinda like a red, white, and blue like the American flag."  The Coats For Kids Drive continues Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at The Discovery Science Place in Tyler.  To receive a coat parents must bring ID for themselves and the children and proof of residence in Smith County.
