BROWNSBORO (KLTV)

Vigil held for Brownsboro student killed in car accident

Students and friends held a candlelight service Wednesday night for 16 year old Sean Michael Sullivan.

The Brownsboro High School junior was killed Saturday when his truck went off the road and hit a tree outside Murchison.

Sean's friends told KLTV 7 he was a volunteer firefighter and police explorer and planned on joining the Marines. They say he was never afraid to help out.

"All around good guy, all you had to do was ask him and he'd be there to help. I'm gonna miss him like a brother, he was a great guy. There's not much more you can say," said John Boyd.

"He spent his time at the fire department and the police department. That was his life, other than his family," said Callie Boyd.

Funeral services for Sean Sullivan are Friday morning at 10:00 am at Carrol-Lehr Funeral Home in Athens.
