Biblically-themed museum reopening after burning to the ground

A Dallas museum that had most of its biblically-themed artwork destroyed in a 2005 fire plans to reopen in September.

Museum Director Scott Peck said Thursday he thinks that about 100 of the 2,500 works that were in the fire-ravaged museum will be restored. Peck says he hopes to have 25 to 30 on display when the museum reopens.

Officials said Thursday that the museum will have about 32,000 square feet and a new name, the Museum of Biblical Art. It was formally the Biblical Arts Center.
