Whitehouse Comes Up With Home Field Advantage

Whitehouse clinched a playoff berth Friday night and for the first round of the playoffs, the Wildcats hope the home field will work to their advantage.

Whitehouse will play Texas High at home this Friday night. Texas High 8-1 on the season, Whitehouse is 7-3.

Coach Randy McFarlin said when they flipped the coin for home-and-home, it worked to the Wildcats favor.

"They really wanted us to come to Texarkana and we said no we won the flip to come to Whitehouse," Randy McFarlin. "I feel it's to our advantage to have them at home. There again once the game starts the field becomes immaterial you just play, one play at a time."

"Being on our home field and everything and being the underdog in this game will help us a lot also," quarterback Brady Attaway said. "So we'll see what happens."

"Home fans are always an advantage," wide receiver Seth Cashion said. "But I'm sure both sides are going to be packed out this week so it's going to be an exciting game."
