A 74 year old disabled man whose pet Yorkshire terrier was lost on Halloween night is asking for your help in finding her.

The Yorkie, named Brittany, was with her owner, Dennis Lamaster, in the driveway of his home in Longview on Halloween night when she saw some trick-or-treaters and ran after them. Because of Dennis's disability, he isn't able to physically carry the dog, so she was walking beside him when she ran away. The owners believe that one of the trick-or-treaters whom the dog ran after may have picked up the dog and taken her with them.

Brittany hasn't been seen since. Dennis says he has checked local animal shelters for Brittany with no luck.

"She is so friendly, she wants to meet and love anyone she finds," said Dennis. "She'll go to anyone...I've never been as attached to a pet as I am to her."

Brittany wasn't wearing a collar the night she went missing, and is described as a 7 year old spayed brown Yorkshire terrier. She was last seen at Dennis and his wife Flordeliza's home on Jonquil Drive in Longview the evening of October 31. If you've seen the pet or know where she may be, please email KLTV 7 News at ckhalil@kltv.com so that we can help return her to her owner.
