A&M Baseball Coach To Speak in Tyler

Texas A&M Baseball Coach Rob Childress will be the guest speaker at the Tyler/Smith County A&M Club Coach's Night on Tuesday, November 11. 

Coach Childress is known as one of the top pitching coaches and recruiters in the country.  He enters his third season as the coach of the Texas A&M baseball program.  Coach Childress has led the Aggie Baseball team to back-to-back Big XII Championships and two straight trips to the Super Regionals.

Childress is a native of Gilmer, Texas and a graduate of Harmony High School.

Coach's Night will be held at The Woman's Building in Tyler.  The silent auction starts at 6:00 pm followed by dinner and the program featuring Coach Childress at 7:00pm.  The cost is $25 for adults / $10 for age 12 and under.

Coach's Night is the major fundraiser for the Tyler/Smith County A&M Club.  The proceeds from this event provide scholarships for many area high school seniors who attend Texas A&M.
