Monday Night Campaigning

On ESPN's Monday Night Football, the halftime show was not about stats from the Redskins- Steelers game.

Instead it was a last word to voters from presidential candidates, Senator Barack Obama and Senator John McCain.

ESPN's Chris Berman asked each candidate the one thing they'd change in sports.

"I'd take significant action to prevent the spread and use of performance enhancing substances," Senator McCain said. "I think it's a game we're going to be in for a long time."

"It's about time that we had playoffs in college football," Senator Obama said. "I'm fed up with these computer rankings and this and that and the other. Get eight teams, the top eight teams right at the end. You get a playoff then decide on a national champion."
