Arkansas Baptist Accused of Playing Ineligible Players

KLTV 7 Sports has leared that Arkansas Baptist is accused of playing inelibile players in one or more games including a game against Tyler Junior College.

According to sources, an investigation has been opened and Arkansas Baptist has yet to respond. The school has until noon Friday to respond to the allegation before the issue is turned over to the compliance office of the NJCAA.

Arkansas Baptist could be forced to forfeit their win over TJC. Currently Trinity Valley is in fourth place in the SWJCFC, but if the Apaches get that win back they would still have a chance of making the postseason. With an ABC forfeit, the Apaches would make the SWJCFC conference with a Saturday win over Northeastern Oklahoma, coupled with a Trinity Valley loss at Arkansas Baptist.

With an ABC forfeit, a Trinity Valley win or a Tyler Loss will give TVCC the final playoff spot.
