Fall Festival Fun For Family

Costumes, games, and much more. And the best part is it was all free. The 9th annual Family Fun festival was Thursday in Tyler at Glass Recreation Center. The community event is organized by the city but has 15 organizations helping out including MADD, and the Boy and Girl Scouts.

The event for the whole family has attracted lots of people with a costume contest, a bounce house, and free hot dogs, snacks and drinks.

"Here to have some fun and get some candy and all kinds of stuff," said Chris Rahn, age 8, dressed up as "cowboy".

"It's just a really fun affair. I think things like this with the economy being the way the more activities we have like this with the city it just brings the whole community together," said Ann Santana, Recreation Specialist for the city of Tyler.
