Railroad commissioner stops in Longview

He's on a get out the vote tour, and talking alternative fuels.

Today, Texas Railroad Commission Chairman Michael Williams stopped in Longview to meet with voters. Williams arrived in a propane powered bus, which he says is symbolic of the Republican Party being on the right track as far as energy options.

"We have sufficient energy here in Texas to power our transportation and electricity and heating needs through our crude oil production and natural gas production, coal mines. We can provide wind power," said Williams.

Williams is also stumping for Senator John McCain, and it's a hectic schedule. He's stopping in 42 cities over the next 13 days.
