A West Nile scare in Ore City turns out to be a false alarm. Two weeks ago, doctors at Good Shepherd Medical Center thought two men had symptoms of the West Nile virus. Both men have recovered and test results show neither man was infected. 65-year old former city councilman Charles Case was hospitalized for a week after coming down with flu-like symptoms of West Nile. He's now back at work and feeling fine. But, the false alarm hasn't lessened the threat. Officials will continue to spray the Ore City area each Friday to control the mosquito population until the hot weather ends.
