Lobos Officially Forfeit Evangel Win

KLTV 7 Sports has learned the Longview Lobos have officially forfeited their victory over Shreveport Evangel.

Longview Athletic Director Pat Collins said he was notified the UIL upheld their ruling that a player was ineligible on Friday. He said he sent written confirmation to Shreveport Evangel and the Louisiana high school athletic association notifying them of the forfeit.

The forfeit drops Longview's overall record to 5-2.
