Three local convenience store robberies in three days

Three convenience store robberies in just three days, and Tyler Police believe the same man is to blame.

This is surveillance video taken just before 2 o'clock this morning at the Food Fast on East Front Street, where the latest robbery occured.

You can see a man approach the clerk with a green t-shirt wrapped around his head and a towel in front of his face.

Sunday morning, police believe the same man robbed the food fast on Troup Highway. He's seen here with a plastic bag over his face and hand, which police say made the clerk believe he had a weapon. In both robberies, the man was able to make off with cash from the register.

"[If you] recognize his clothing, or recognize him as being somewhere in town where they saw him, or even drove by that night and saw him getting out of a vehicle, or some him driving up with someone else, so yes any information about this person we would really appreciate," said Officer Doyle Lynch with the Tyler Police Department.

Police also believe the same man robbed the Speedy Food Mart on East 5th Street early yesterday morning.
