COPY-Jury is deliberating in Simpson case

Associated Press - October 3, 2008 12:53 PM ET

LAS VEGAS (AP) - A jury in Las Vegas is deliberating the robbery and kidnapping charges against O.J. Simpson and his co-defendant.

They each face five years to life if convicted of robbing and kidnapping two sports memorabilia dealers.

A court spokesman says the jurors are expected to deliberate throughout the day. If they don't reach a verdict today, he says it's "up to them" whether to deliberate tomorrow.

It was exactly 13 years ago today that Simpson was acquitted of killing his ex-wife and her friend.
