POW-MIA Ceremony Held In Longview

A solemn ceremony took place today in Longview, in a day to remember those still unaccounted for while serving our country.  According to the state department, from WWII to today, more than 80,000 service men and women are still unaccounted for.  At Longview's VFW Post 4002 today a formal ceremony marked the observance of POW-MIA remembrance.

Those lost in foreign wars were remembered with the placing of flowers and a wreath at the side of the symbolic missing man chair.  Around 30 veterans and their families joined the ceremony today.
