Longview police looking for hit and run driver

Longview Police traffic investigators are asking looking for a truck that caused a morning accident that sent one person to the hospital.

At around 9:16 am Friday morning, a dark green, late model Chevrolet or GMC four-wheel drive, extended cab truck failed to yield the right of way from a stop sign on Rodden Street and pulled in front of a car that was traveling along Reel Road.

The green truck then fled the scene and should have extensive damage to the driver's side.

The driver of the car was transported to Good Shepherd Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Officer Shane Manion of the Longview Police Department Traffic Unit at 903-237-1196 or Gregg County Crime Stoppers at 903-236-STOP or www.greggcountycrimestoppers.org
