Mom, baby narrowly escape tree falling on room

More stories of damage and close calls from this weekend continue to pour in.

That was the case for David and Terri Killian of Longview after a tree came crashing down on the room where their daughter and grandson slept.

The two and a half year old and his mother were able to escape just before it happened.

But it was quite a scare for his grandfather, who saw the tree leaning right before it fell.

"When I went in the room his play pen which he slept in Saturday night was full of sheet rock and installation and two by six. So he probably...I don't know if it would have killed him but it could have been a bad thing," said David Killian.

The Killians' are now in the process of repairing their roof.
