Marshall City Official Arrested for Public Intoxication

A Marshall city official is in hot water Thursday, after being arrested for public intoxication. Marshall's top ranking city financial officer, 49 year old Wallace Raymond Bailey Junior, was arrested by police Wednesday morning after he was found intoxicated next to his vehicle at an area car wash. Making matters worse, officers found two children in Bailey's car who were relatives, and charged him with endangering a child. Bailey has been the city's secretary finance director for six years. The mayor and city council will now decide what action will be taken for Bailey's position.
