Longview shooting sends 16 year old to the hospital

An early morning shooting sent a 16 year old to the hospital in Longview Tuesday morning, according to Longview Police.

The juvenile was found at a home on Garfield Drive, and communicated to officers that he knew the person that did the shooting. The victim was taken to Good Shepherd Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

The investigation is ongoing, and Longview police say it looks like the shooting was in relation to illegal gambling that was going on at the home.
