Salvation Army Women's auxiliary luncheon held today

The Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary Membership Luncheon was held this afternoon, with the theme of 'Our Army's Heritage.' Major Wendy Morris, the Coordinator of Women's Ministries,  in Washington, D.C. spoke at the event.

"The community support that the Salvation Army receives is critical to what they can accomplish accross the country, especially in times like this of national disaster," said Major Morris, "and so we're very blessed to have the support of...the auxillary."

The luncheon was for the 300 local members of the Auxillary to learn more about how auxiliary members provide volunteer support to the Army's efforts to render services in our community.
