Two arrested in Wills Point, Edgewood, Shreveport, Waxahachie, Fruitvale burglaries

Saturday (September 6), two men were arrested in Edgewood at a home on North Houston Street in connection with several burglaries and thefts. Those arrested, Trenton Sinyard and a 16 year old juvenile, were arrested the Van Zandt County Sheriff's Office and Edgewood Police Department.

In the home, several items were recovered by police that are believed to have been taken during burglaries out of Wills Point, the Jay's Convenience store located in Edgewood and the Fruitvale Elementary School. Firearms were recovered from the Wills Point burglaries.

The men are also believed to be connected to thefts and burglaries out of Shreveport and Waxahachie.

Sinyard is from Waxahachie, and he was arrested and transported to the Van Zandt County Detention Facility.

The 16 year old, a white male, was arrested and placed in the Van Zandt County Juvenile Detention Facility.
