Alcohol may have been factor in June boating accident

Authorities say alcohol may have been a factor in a boating crash that killed an East Texas man earlier this summer.  The accident happened on Lake Cherokee in June.  You may remember, two boats collided throwing one man out of the boat.  The man, Chris Carpenter, 26 later died. Investigators say several people in the boats, including the driver of the boat that caused the crash appeared intoxicated.  The case will now be presented to a Gregg County grand jury.
