Texas Ranger and Longview native Chris Davis will have his own day on September 21 at the Rangers Ballpark in Arlington.   

State Representative Tommy Merritt announced that his office has coordinated with the Texas Rangers Baseball team to honor former Longview Lobo Chris Davis.  That same Sunday, will be fan appreciation day.  The game is at 2:05 p.m.  

Tickets available: September 9 at noon until September 16 at noon.  Ticket prices: 

$31.50 in sections 14, 15,16, 17, 115, 116, 117

$18.50 in sections 10,11, and 12

$14.50 in sections 212,213,214. 

Seating will be along the third base line.

No credit card purchases. Cash only. A portion of each ticket sold will go to charitable causes in Longview.

The Longview News Journal, 320 E. Methvin St. from 9a.m. to 4p.m. Monday through Friday.

The Longview Mall Simon Guest Services (just off center court) from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

KYKX radio,4408 Highway 259 North from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
