Buses heading to Longview to take evacuees back home

150 buses are headed to Longview tonight. They will take 729 Gustav evacuees back home.

But the city says they will not force evacuees out who don't have a home to go to.

"We're not pushing anybody out. There's not a deadline where they have to get out and put somebody out on the street or homeless. We are definitely not...that's not going to happen. We're definitely going to provide for their needs because that out number one priority providing them shelter and meals," said Officer Kevin Brownlee of the Longview Police Department.

The city says without the volunteers and local churches, they could not have offered all the help to the evacuees.
