Red Raiders Ready For Lufkin

In 48 hours we will be knee deep in high school football.

In 72 hours we will be neck deep.

Several East Texas schools got their teams and fans fired up with back to school bashes Tuesday night, including the Lee Red Raiders.

Lee celebrated all their athletes and the football team. Playing the Lufkin Panthers on Friday, the Red Raiders know they have tough test ahead of them for their season opener.

"I know that they are good. I have a lot of faith in my offensive line though," Lee running back Da Da Brown said. "I feel like we can dominate a little bit."

"No holding back for these guys," running back Aaron Myers said. "We're going to play our hardest. The hardest we've ever played and hopefully we come out of there with a win."

Lee will host Lufkin, Friday at 7:30 p.m. in the Trinity Mother Frances Football Classic.
