Double Smith County robberies overnight

Smith County sheriff's officials are hunting for the man who robbed a Chapel Hill convenience store.

Deputies were called around 3:30 am to the Food Fast Store on Highway 64 east in Chapel Hill.

Deputies tell us a black male robbed the store and then fled. So far, there have been no arrests and no injuries in that case.

And, Tyler Police need your help finding a suspect who robbed a man at gunpoint last night. It happened shortly before 11:30 pm at the Meadowbrook Apartments in the 4600 block of Paluxy Drive. Police say two black men approached 36 year old Angel Catreras while he was getting out of his car.

One pointed a large semi-automatic handgun while the other took Angel's cell phone and then ran off.
