By George! Former Heavyweight Champ Visits Lufkin

Before his grills made their way into our kitchens, he was an Olympic gold medalist and heavyweight champion of the world.

Thursday night, George Foreman was in East Texas. The champ was in Lufkin for the 2nd Annual Ribeye Roundup for Forman. Benefits go to Preventing Blindness Texas.

With all the good food at the cookout, it was hard to catch Foreman without his mouth full.

"Forty years ago, I'm an Olympic gold medalist," he said. "Today I'm here with Preventing Blindness Texas. What better way to take a gold medal? I think it's a wonderful occassion with the Ribeye Round-Up. I get my boys to come down and watch me eat. It's a ball."
