After using a pair of scissors to intimidate a Child Protective Services employee, a woman kidnaps her own children. Police say Sharna Sutton walked into the Gilmer CPS office and threatened a woman caring for her six children.
Earlier the same day, police took the kids to CPS after learning their mother had kidnapped them from another CPS office in Kansas. Later, police found Sutton and her kids at a relatives home in New Diana. Sutton has been taken into custody. Her kids are back with CPS.
A spokesperson for CPS in Austin says the kids were originally taken away from their mother due to physical neglect and emotional abuse.
