Bush arrives in Texas for relaxing two weeks on the ranch

President Bush today flew home to Texas to spend about two weeks at his ranch near Crawford.

Bush delayed the start of his Texas trip by one day as he monitored the upheaval in Russia.

Bush, before leaving Washington this morning, accused Russia of "bullying and intimidation" in its harsh military treatment of Georgia.

Bush says the people in the former Soviet republic have chosen freedom and "we will not cast them aside."

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is expected to arrive at Bush's ranch tomorrow to brief him on her trip to Georgia to pursue a diplomatic solution to the week-old crisis.
