Longview's Davis Named AL Rookie of the Month

His first full month in the big league's was pretty impressive for Longview's Chris Davis.

So much so, the former Longview Lobo was named the Gillette Rookie of the Month for the American League on Monday.

During the month of July, Chris batted .303 and had 16 RBI's. He was called up to join the Rangers at first base June 25.
