Henderson Man Pleads Guilty To Crack Charges

Kenneth Pollard, 54, pleaded guilty to possession with the intent to distribute at least five kilos of crack cocaine in court today.

According to information presented in court, since approximately March 2007, the defendant had been conspiring to distribute cocaine to others in and around the Eastern District of Texas.  A 2-count federal indictment was returned on June 3, 2008, charging 5 individuals with conspiracy to distribute cocaine and cocaine base.

Pollard faces up to 40 years in federal prison and a fine up to $2 million.  A sentencing date has not been set.
