Pacman Ready For Game Time

Cowboys play their preseason opener Saturday night.

While preseason games don't count in the win column, they mean everything for fans wanting to get their first looks at new players.

Saturday night fans can check out players like rookie running back Felix Jones in a game situation and even new cowboy Zach Thomas. It will also be the first time since suspended cornerback Adam ''Pacman" Jones plays in any type of game since 2006.

"I've been waiting on getting back on the field, period," Jones said. "It's preseason. I don't want to do too much, it doesn't count right now. So, I'll go out there and do my job and enjoy myself and have fun and play within the defense and let the coaches know what I can bring to the table."

It's definitely exciting being able to hit somebody else, play against some different competition," defensive end Chris Cant said. "See how different people react to different things that you do, particularly on the defensive side of the ball. It's going to be a great challenge for us going up against San Diego's offense. We're looking forward to it."
