Magic Gives Cowboys Championship Inspiration

Sometimes the best words to inspire future champions can come from champions of the past.

Those words went to the Cowboys Wednesday via NBA great Magic Johnson.

The former Laker told the Cowboys they will win a championship but it won't come to them overnight.

Actors Rob Lowe and Jamie Foxx also visited the team.

Cowboys Camp Headlines:

* Coach Wade Phillips says the first team offense and defense will play "about a quarter" of Saturday's preseason opener.

* Cornerback Mike Jenkins will get the start in place of the injured Terence Newman on Saturday, but fans can expect to see Pacman Jones play in his first game since 2006. He is allowed to play in the preseason.

* Wednesday night's first episode of HBO's Hard Knocks included highlights on secondary coach Dave Campo, the rookies and the waiving of Terry Glenn.
