Grand Jury Returns Indictments Wednesday

A federal grand jury has returned indictments this morning in the Eastern district of Texas.

Lucio Ramirez, 34, of Mt. Pleasant was indicted on charges of being in the United States illegally. If convicted, he will be deported.

Jody L. Wilson, 50, of Arkansas was indicted on charges of interstate transportation of stolen property and theft. If convicted, he could receive 10 years in prison and fines up to $250,000.

Harold Wayne Lewis, 66, of Texarkana was indicted on charges of failure to register as a sex offender. If convicted, he could be imprisoned for more than 10 years and fines of up to $250,000.

Bradley Wayne Taylor, 27, of Harleton was indicted on charges of failure to register as a sex offender as well, and faces the same penalty as Lewis if convicted.

Indictments are not evidence of guilt. All people charged with crimes are innocent until proven guilty.
