Cadaver dogs have been brought in to help in the search for a missing Nacogdoches woman.
The searchers combed roughly 50 acres along the northern end of Lake Nacogdoches and its shorelines. That's close to where Torchie Boyd disappeared after her boyfriend's body was found following an apparent suicide.
"We worked the trails where he would have crossed the creek and along the shoreline, those areas, so from the house we've checked 1/2 mile out in the direction of travel, 1/2 mile out and a mile wide," said game warden Jim Yetter.
The dogs did pick up on a scent near an oil pit, which led searchers to drag the oily water, but they found nothing.
