Whitehouse Loosens Water Restrictions - Slightly

The city of Whitehouse has loosened its water restrictions slightly today to allow residents to water their lawns one day a week.

Homes with even-numbered addresses may water outside on Monday only, and homes with odd-numbered addresses can water outside on Thursday only.

Hand watering of plants and shrubs is still allowed. The city is asking you to keep your lawn watering to a minimum - no more than 30 minutes, if possible. They say that optimum watering times are from midnight until 6:00 am, daily.

The city also says that if a large demand is placed back on their system, they'll have no choice but to go back to more restrictive measures, including the possibility of no outdoor watering at all.
