Man Arrested On Capital Murder Charges In Death Of Two Year Old

Henderson County authorities have arrested a nineteen year old man in connection with the death of a 2 year old Tool boy two months ago.

About 3:00 am, on May 27 of this year, Douglas Crickmore Jr. was found laying face down in his bed, unresponsive. EMS was brought out to the address on CR 2450 in Tool.  The child was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. An autopsy was ordered to find the case of death. On July 23, authorities were notified that the medical examiner had ruled the death to be a homicide by blunt force trauma to the head.

On July 30, an arrest warrant was issued for Christopher Blane McFaul.  The Tarrant County Sheriff's Office Fugitive Taskforce in Fort Worth was contacted, and their assistance was requested in executing the warrant.

McFaul was arrested at a Bedford, Texas location.  He remains in the Tarrant County jail awaiting transfer to the Henderson County jail.  McFaul is charged with capital murder.

Douglas Crickmore Jr. was the son of Crystal Crickmore. Both the mother and son were living McFaul when the alleged murder occured.
