Family Of Hit And Run Victim Pleas For Help

No arrests yet in a brutal East Texas hit and run.

57 year old Clifton Gray was hit by 3 vehicles while crossing FM 1252 in Kilgore Monday night.

The first two vehicles drove away, but the driver of the third stopped to help.

Gray's brother Joel Loyd lives on the street where Gray died.

He says drivers are constantly going over the speed limit, making the road dangerous.

"you couldn't have a conscience even if you hit something even if it's a dog. You don't stop? how could you do that," said Loyd.

About his brother, Carl Loyd added "He was just like a handyman throughout the whole community. He even helped people up and down the road. Anybody need help he helped them."

if you have information on this case, call Crimestoppers or Gregg County Authorities.
