More Items Found In Burglary Suspects' Home

More stolen items were found inside the home of two back-door burglar suspects.

During a second search of Lawrence Madlock and Penny Green's home, police discovered several more purses and a hand-gun. The new evidence will be added to other items that police took from the property Tuesday.

More is known about the two people who are suspected of burglarizing dozens of Tyler homes.

Smith County Jail records show in 1991, Madlock was convicted for 3 home burglaries. And in 1993, he was sentenced to 15 years for possession of cocaine. Most recently, Madlock worked as a temporary employee at an air conditioning company in Tyler.

Madlock's wife Penny Green has a less severe criminal record, which includes traffic violations and disorderly conduct. Until her arrest Tuesday, Green worked as a leasing agent at Oxford Pointe Apartment in Tyler.
