Former U.S. House Majority Leader, Tom DeLay made a pit stop in East Texas. Sunday morning, DeLay spoke at Harvest Point Church in Nacogdoches. The former representative has been traveling across the country in an effort to rebuild the conservative movement. From the pulpit, DeLay wanted to make it clear there should be no separation between church and state.
"I believe faith is the foundation of political activity because your world view is who you are," said DeLay. "There's a lot of room to grow in the movement if we can just reach out and provide the leadership." DeLay was indicted three years ago in a campaign finance probe, forcing him to step down from his majority position.
