At summer camp today, some John Tyler High School students designed and built their own robots using math and science skills learned in the classroom.
Some students say they love it so much, they even want to design robots when they grow up!
"The first man ever to build a walking, talking, breathing robot. but when it breathes it purifies air...if I could tell kids one thing about this program, join it, you will learn a lot," camper Antonio White told us today.
"We want them to see the value of trial and error, and that failure is not always a bad thing if we see it as a learning experience," said Blake Helm the lead teacher.
Instructors say this is the perfect way to apply math and science skills in a hands-on way.
